Refresh your mind on what the markers mean and the rules of the road. Take the time to understand how your ski moves through the water.

Step 1 - Online Theory Course:

Takes roughly 2 hours
You can log on and off as many times as you need.

"Certificate of Completion" is valid for 3 months from the completion date.

Step 2 - Book a day with me to complete your:

40 questions multiple choice question theory assessment with a 100% pass mark.
Revision is a must before course date.
practical training driving the jetski and practising all the tasks required to be competent.
practical assessment performing all those tasks that you practised in the training session. (You will do this without any coaching from the trainer.)

Practical Assessment – Personal Watercraft Licence

I encourage you to drive the jetski with another licenced skipper before arriving at the BoatSafe course - you may not be confident driving the boat in just one day. I offer training sessions if you don't have friends or family with a boat or jetski that you can practise on. The training sessions should be in the same way that a new driver engage with a car driving instructor.

Look out for sand banks. Reduce the risk of hitting anyone or anyone running into you.
